Responsible for successfully creating and executing portfolio items through the appropriate use of the JnJ project management methodology through effective collaboration with key partners whilst identifying new best practices.


  • Responsible for executing continuous improvement projects and programs at Worldwide Franchise level from concept to completion to increase the maturity of the Strategic Planning processes & people
  • Build trust-based partnerships with teams (intra & inter) as well as externally with customers & suppliers
  • Responsibly work through the project lifecycle in accordance to the JnJ Project Management Methodology
  • Lead strategic projects through collaboration with relevant partners across multiple functions in a virtual global environment
  • Work with Project stakeholders to effectively respond to critical issues as they arise in line with Credo values
  • Highlight interdependencies between projects and anticipate impact to final customer is taken into account
  • Identify and contribute towards resolution of issues and conflicts within the assigned project(s) and find appropriate escalation paths for recurring unresolved issues
  • Continually assesses impact of changes to the end customer and applies a quality & compliance mindset at all times
  • Passionate about change and supporting people through transition in a changing environment
  • Able to grasp and transmit complex information to different levels within the business in a simple and engaging fashion
  • Additional projects may be assigned by the PLAN PMO Senior Manager 

  • University Bachelor degree or equivalent. Masters or equivalent preferred
  • Project Management certification (IPMA or PMI)
  • Lean Six Sigma Certifications and Supply Chain Certifications (APICS/IBF) required
  • 4-6 years of relevant Supply Chain Planning & Forecasting experience in a regulated environment (e.g. medical device or pharmaceutical industry)
  • Comfortable to analyze and understand operational details yet being able to abstract the detail to process level
  • Business Process Mapping, through to analysis and design experience with respect to J&J SCOR Model required
  • Ability to keep the replicability of a solution in mind (strategic thinking & industrialization opportunities)
  • Experience with identification of standardization & continuous improvement opportunities
  • Financial Acumen
  • Experience in accelerating change and transition
  • ERP / Planning Systems knowledge (SAP/APO/SNP) & advanced planning systems (OMP) preferred
  • Passionate, dynamic and goal oriented demonstrating consistently result driven high standards
  • Highly reliable; delivers to promise, anticipates issues and flags emerging hurdles proactively
  • Strong Team Player with cross-departmental thinking as well as builds good relationships with partners across the organisation
  • Champions continuous improvement: questions current processes and standards to identify improvement opportunities; takes ownership to ensure improvements and innovation are implemented
  • 10-20% international traveling to DePuy Synthes offices, plant locations and distribution hubs
  • 20-40% national travel to DePuy Synthes offices in Switzerland
