Reporting in to the Digital Director for Media & Scale for Northern Europe, this role will be responsible for the following:
Lead strategy for digital business model NE
Champion must win digital priorities consistently and at scale across NE cluster of 6 markets
Decide resources (budget and 3 direct reports) to apply to right initiatives to drive innovation & growth
Bring breakthrough digital landscape & industry insight to our globally leading digital cluster. Translate strategic digital expertise into further accelerating our best in class digital growth metrics
Lead team & management board through quarterly reviews, challenging & refreshing NE digital strategic framework
Drive digital impact & effectiveness of digital agenda via Digital Analytics
Reimagine the Digital analytics function to drive an analytics culture across the cluster – oversee staff, strategy, priorities and tool selection
Be an agent of change & drive digital analytics culture in J&J marketing
Drive global Google and Facebook partnerships in NE
Develop Joint Business plan with key partner, to drive for further investment & unprecedented efficiencies
Oversee NE digital communication & Digital IQ agenda
Pioneer best in class internal comms using all forums to drive common understanding
Plan & deploy all learning work including DCoE playbooks, MxD leverage, global partnerships
Cluster business lead for web & mobile development
Represent Northern Europe on EMEA web development chapter, to drive Northern Europe delivery agenda & pioneer introduction of new developments
Step change health of Northern Europe 100+ (1/3 all EMEA) websites to include ROI challenge, right sizing & volume, SEO etc). This critical challenge globally has GOC attention.
Ensure compliance with process; legal; safety organization approach, IT service level agreement
A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or Master’s degree is a plus. Vast experience of having worked in digital marketing for relevant companies
Deep understanding of integrated marketing experience and the role digital plays in the marketing mix.
Comprehensive understanding of the digital ecosystem and how web, mobile, social, search and e-commerce channels work together to optimize behavior, acquisition and sales.
Familiarity with segmentation, analytics and a general comfort with numbers; direct experience with web measurement/analytics a plus.
A passion for understanding the consumer mindset and keeping up with media and technology trends; Familiarity with and hands-on use of all digital media platforms & channels is an asset.
The ability to clearly articulate and present insight-based strategies, recommendations and results to team members and management is required.
Able to be an individual contributor, willing and eager to work in a hands-on capacity is required. A leader and team-builder with a passion for working with creative people is mandatory.
The ability to collaborate successfully and build relationships with internal teams, suppliers and agencies is required.
Exceptional writing, communication/presentation and influence skills are also required.
