The BSCoE Senior Manager will support the Business Unit Finance (BUF) AsiaPac and Japan on the following activities:   

  • Providing oversight to CoE Commercial Support team
  • Business partnering with various stakeholders (mainly the Finance Directors)
  • Business Plan support and analysis
  • Data analysis and trend and forecast reporting
  • Quarter close and standard reporting with much of the work is generated around the month/quarter ends focusing on P&L review with BU management
  • Bringing to life and improving Global FP&A processes


Responsibilities:

  • Framing ad-hoc reporting or analytics requests (including to support LRFP, Business Plan) and interfacing across the BUF and CoE
  • Review ad-hoc reporting & performance analytics work products
  • Work with BUF on issue analysis and problem solving
  • Determine CoE growth strategy
  • Review balance sheet forecasts
  • Review standard reporting & performance analytics work products
  • Monitor SLAs and performance metric operational performance
  • Provide input into SLAs and CoE Performance Feedback
  • Conduct performance reviews/serve as a People Manager and assisting to train fellow team members
  • Lead or participate in status or team meetings and provide updates to leadership
  • Perform performance management activities and ensure that policies and procedures are followed
  • Close collaboration with the Global Services team based in Manila & Suzhou and BSCoE Finance peers across local cross-sector CoE as well as other regions CoE
  • Supports ad hoc requests / projects
  • Travelling may be required to support the BUF



Qualifications
  • A minimum Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting, Economics or Finance
  • Financial certification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CMA or other equivalent 
  • Minimum +7 years finance, accounting or related business experience and +3 years people management experience
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications, especially in MS Excel (i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions). Experience with relevant systems preferred (Reporting & planning tools such as SAP and TM1)
  • Demonstrated experience in the ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated experience in ability to drive positive change management for organization and creating strong organizational health and culture
  • Possess strong communications, framing presentation skills; along with solid interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and proven leadership skills.  
  • The ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required
