Janssen Pharmaceuticals Sciences UC has also been operating in Cork since 1981. Janssen Pharmaceuticals Sciences UC is manufacturing bulk active pharmaceutical ingredients in Little Island that are sold throughout the world to other Janssen and third party companies where they are further processed into tablets, creams or injectable dosage forms.
Job Purpose

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Cork. This challenging and dynamic role will provide the suitable candidate with excellent exposure to the full J&J reporting environment. Based in the JBS Finance team in Cork the candidate will work closely with colleagues locally, across our other JBS companies based in Belgium & Switzerland and will partner directly with Corporate on reporting & compliance related matters. On the job training will be provided and the opportunity for continuous learning development through our J&J E-university programme

As a Senior Financial Analyst, your typical day may include:

•Preparing and submitting quarterly group reporting schedules, including Income statement and Balance Sheet and analytics across a number of MRCs.
•Performing quarterly Flux analysis and commentary.
•Preparing periodic budget and forecast Income statements and balance sheets
•Reconciling key income statement and balance sheet accounts using our automated reconciliation tool. Local Admin role on blackline tool.
•Audit & SOX - Liaising with internal and external Auditors. Ensuring compliance with SOX requirements
•Liaising with local tax & statutory accountants in the Tax COE to assist with quarter end & budgetary tax reporting
•Interacting with European & US based group accountants, assisting with analysis of reporting data
•Opportunity to support projects within the finance department


Qualifications
Be vital:

•Recognised Professional Accountancy qualification
•Operational finance experience within a multinational is a plus
•Experience working in a Sarbanes Oxley environment or with previous internal/external audit experience 
•SAP knowledge is an asset
•Team player with an ability to work independently
•Strong organisational abilities and a hands-on mentality
