The Manila Site Administrator and Global Continuity Manager is responsible for directing, developing and operationalizing the Business Continuity capabilities for Global Services. This position will ensure the capabilities that are developed are organizationally recognized to minimize the impact of a disruptive event on the enterprise functional processes (HR, Finance, Procurement)– with a focus on the safety and well-being of personnel. This position will ensure industry best practices as well as J&J leading practices are incorporated into the business continuity plans.
 
  • Complete business impacts/priorities through a Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
  • Conduct IT recovery capability gap analysis and remediation plan
  • Develop short term and long term resilience and continuity strategies
  • Develop business continuity plans (BCPs) and incident / crisis responseplans
  • Develop program governance and sustainability recommendations
  • Develop program implementation plan for future phases
  • Continue to mature the initial BCPs, enhance Business Impact Analysis as needed, and ensure IT Disaster Recovery remediation is completed according to site assessment results.
  • Finalize the operationalization of the end to end Business Continuity Management Strategies and Tactics acrossall the Global Services Sites.
     
    Further to his/her role as a Global BCM for all the GS Locations, since this resource is based in Manila, he is also responsible for day to day operations in Manila. This includes general facility management, health and wellness activities for employees, and ensuring that Manila is a Great Place to Work. This role will partner with the Communications and Training team members in Manila to ensure that J&J GS employees are equipped to perform their roles and are engaged in an effective manner.
     
The position will report to the Manila Site and Contact Center Head in regard to Site Operations and will work hand in hand with the Vice President of Global Services Site and Contact Center as it relates to Global BCM strategy.
Program Governance: (BCP)
  • Lead the BCM team which includes external subject matter experts, GS site leads, GS BPOs and functional director leads,ensuring flawless executionof a all aspects of program management: this includes – Executive Dashboard Status Reporting of the BCM Program and overall Program Communication Strategy
  • Lead Weekly Core Team Status & Ongoing Executive Updates
  • Maintain Stakeholder Management Plan and ensure timely communications and feedback gained from all key stakeholders
  • Manage Scope, Schedule, Budget, Resources and ensure impediments are dealt with timely with transparency to issues/risks on-going
  • Manage the Program Budget, Statement of Work and all contracts associated with the BCM Program
     
    Operationalize BCM Governance, BCP Plans and Crisis Management Global Plans
     
     
  • Keep a pulse on the maturation and growth of Global Services sites, ensuring BCM work is transitioned smoothly into the operational status for both Business Continuity Plans and Crisis Management Plans for each site
  • Build a BCM Governance Model to ensure all Global Services associates are educated on their site specific Business Continuity Plans as well as end to end BCP strategies for Global Services. Ensure appropriate Training, Communications and Change Management plans are in place to institutionalize the BCPs and Crisis Management across all five Global Services sites
  • Understand and shape leading and emerging practices for Business Continuity Management based on industry trends and externalmarket intelligence to proactively drivevalue minimize risk for J&J
  • Operate as member of the J&J GS Site and Contact Center leadership team, representing the unique challenges and needs of the BCM program across all sites
     
    IT Disaster Recovery  - BCP
  • Provide oversight for the assessment and remediation work performed by GTS for the IT Disaster Recovery work as part of the BCM Program. This oversight is critical to ensure GTS alignment with prioritized critical processes of GS Global sites.
     
    Site Admin – MLA
  • Help manage the Global Services MANILA location; oversee the operations and employee engagement in the MANILA location for J&J Global Services.
  • Establish and promotethe service mindset,operational excellence and continuous improvement orientation in the site location; provide vision and direction with a defined long-range plan for the site location.
  • Manage the MANILA site to ensure that it is a great place to work for employees.
  • Increase the effectiveness of the J&J GS organization in MANILA and build a world-class experience for customers.
  • Ensure that teams feel a sense of community and that the site is high-performing. Helps manage the site in alignment with Credo-values.

Qualifications
 
  • 5+ years of Program Management in managerial/leadership positions specializing facilities management
  • Exceptional influence leadership skills, in an indirect, matrix-based, and virtual environment
  • Strong leadership skills; understands the global cultures in J&J
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Business Continuity Management a plus
  • Thorough understanding of shared services model
  • Track record to deliver programresults with complex,global program management experience required.
  • Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities, identifies risks/issues, assesses implications, formulates recommendations, and drives sound decisions that deliver results
  • Relationship management, coaching and collaboration skills.
  • Strong presentation skills;can speak across various forumsand communicate to broad, diverseaudience
