We are seeking a Database Analyst to be based at our Leeds ONE Campus.
 
Working as part of the Commercial Analytics department you will work with a wide range of internal teams including Sales, Marketing and Finance. Your role will be to maintain and update internal databases to allow accurate and timely reporting across the organisation, which in turn will be used to influence and drive strategic business decisions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with all levels of the business and establish strong working relationships that will help aid you in your future career at Johnson and Johnson.
 
Main Responsibilities:
Maintain and update the internal Access databases.
Building queries and providing data extracts.
Data validation and cleansing.
Master data maintenance and mapping updates.
Create new reports to meet evolving business needs.
Manage sales reporting systems and tools
Ensure accurate, efficient and consistent sales reporting.
Manage third party sales and rebate al locations.
Delivering insights and recommendations to facilitate effective decision making.
Utilise advanced visualisation software to create dashboards.
Participate in and lead process improvements initiatives.

Qualifications
Desired Profile - Knowledge / Experience / Skills / Capabilities required:
Excellent MS Access skills – ability to update and create complex queries.
Excellent MS Excel skills capable of efficiently manipulating large sets of data and producing a suite of reports.
VBA, SQL, SharePoint skills – desirable.
Data visualisation tool experience - Qlik, Tableau.
Degree qualified – technical subject.
Highly numerate with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Must be motivated and self-driven; able to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong time management & organisational skills.
Ability to prioritise work and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate problems and issues.
Oracle and SAP experience.
Commercially astute.
