Business Analyst – Customer Engagement
The Customer Engagement BA will assist with the execution of the Customer Engagement portfolio of programs, with specific focus on the implementation of the Veeva Customer Relationship Management (CRM) suite of solutions and other supporting sales management tools such as Master Data and Tableau Reporting, Territory Alignment, Sales Crediting and Sales Forecasting
•             Business IT interface
o             Understand the IT system or systems that the business uses; Veeva CRM knowledge will be an advantage
o             Work with the business to translate requirements for IT sprint cycles
o             Coordinate user acceptance testing or assist unit testers so that requirements are satisfied
o             Writes, manages, and clarifies story points
•             Business requirements analysis, development and documentation
o             Takes business requirements and writes specifications in a consumable format and terminology for developers
o             Maps out business processes to serve as reference for development and IT support
o             Explains to business how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint
o             Applies compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, provides documentation and participates in compliance activities as required
•             Project management & oversight
o           Reports mostly on the progress of own workstream
o           Manage change management and training programs required for the deployment of new CRM solutions, including training, communications and feedback
o           Facilitates, documents and reports User Acceptance Testing and assists unit testers to ensure acceptance criteria is fully satisfied
•             Portfolio Management
o           Assist in business planning, analysis, needs analysis and business risk assessment, and consults with business partners to shape portfolio demand and determine how to best support the business through the effective use of IT technology in commercial sector (Sales).
o           Financials: track and report actual project spend

Essential knowledge and skills:
  • Possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related courses


Professional Experience:              
  • At least 3-5 years IT experience, preferably in a multinational pharma company with at least 2 years commercial IT experience
  • Strong Commercial IT business processes and technology expertise
  •  Remote environment work experience
  •  Knowledge of using CRM tools and techniques in the support of developing a business with demonstrable experience of managing the Customer Journey - Veeva CRM knowledge will be an added advantage
  • Experienced in data analysis and reporting along with a strong knowledge of database and related technologies

  • Able to communicate and coordinate business requirements into technical requirements within a technical outsource environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team, with minimal supervision. Should be able to tackle issues as they arise independently however also be knowledgeable as to when to escalate issues and questions when necessary
