Full time, permanent contract
Location: Prague
  • Provides accurate, timely, and meaningful financial analysis to Local and Regional Management for the Vision Care EMEA Business
  • Accountable for the completeness and accuracy of financial statements
  • Leads business reviews of P&L and BS and works across processes and affiliate companies
  • Provides recommendations to the Account 2 Report team based on experience, business input and closing feedback
  • Financial business partnering – build and maintain a trusted partnership with the business partners + provide (financial) recommendations
  • Responsible for a number of accounting processes, working closely with the local and regional Business unit finance teams as needed to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial statement in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements;
  • Leading P&L review on a monthly basis (SG&A and Spending review)
  • Overall preparation & coordination of BvA reviews as per agreed deadlines on a quarterly basis
  • Provides accurate, timely, and meaningful financial analysis as needed to A2R team and BUF based on P&L reviews/BVA reviews and local business knowledge
  • Review and approval of Balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis/reports as needed + present complex analysis to management
  • Approver of Corporate financial submissions into consolidations tool BRAVO
  • Be a key liaison role across the 3 tier model (BUF, BS CoE, CTC, Payroll CoE, Supply Chain) for assigned market scope and promote the collaboration across tiers
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across the region

  • University degree in Finance / Economics
  • Advanced level of English
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant finance experience in international environment
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles
  • Controlling experience is a big plus
  • Customer oriented business partner
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of US GAAP is a big advantage, but not necessary
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and SAP is a must
  • Ability to work under pressure, team spirit
