Be Vital In this role:
As a Product Safety Associate, your dedication will be to manage the product complaints received at Johnson & Johnson Medical. You will ensure that all product complaints including repairs for Johnson & Johnson Medical devices, capital equipment and instrumentation are handled according to regulatory guidelines and company policy and also provide regular reports to management. You will deal with both internal and external stakeholders regarding product related issues partnering with them to provide comprehensive advice and/or resolution to meet customer expectations.
You will need to possess extremely strong verbal and written communication skills and have prior experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders. Preferably you will possess a background in a Science or other health related fields as you will need to understand and be able to assess each event based on Health Authority criteria and report accordingly. You will have meticulous attention to detail, strong report writing skills, and an awareness of the importance of ISO 13485/ISO 9001 and good manufacturing practice. Your logical approach to problem solving will be integral to your success along with the ability to adapt to ambiguity and changing priorities.
Your demonstrated experience in a quality or a drug safety background would be highly regarded. Alternatively you may be working in Clinical Research but looking for a change of pace, your adverse event assessment skills and ability to manage complex situations would be advantageous for you in this role. Regardless of your previous background, your strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, science/health related background and customer orientation will be drivers to your success.
