Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Budapest, Hungary
Full time, limited contract – maternity replacement
  • Business partnering activities that drive profitable growth and support key business decisional making.
  • Support the financial planning of the mid-term plan/business plan/updates/latest thinking, consolidation of different therapeutic areas and review of the detailed financial analyses.
  • Support the actual reporting processes with cooperation of local, regional and global business partners.
  • Review all key financial indicators to ensure budgets are achieve
  • Provide support to local business regarding financial reports and during new product lunches.
  • Master data maintenance.
  • Track reporting duties, manage contact with different ESP Finance Teams
  • Improve financial flows, keep in line with the latest statutory financial changes
  • Responsible for SOP’s.
  • Keep deadlines, track reporting duties.
  • Maintain and improve a strong internal control environment (J&J WW financial, SOX, HCC procedures) with cooperation of BS Compliance team and local HCBI.

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or related area
  • 5+ years of business experience – preferred in multinational company
  • Fluent English and Hungarian is a must
  • At least intermediate Excel user
  • Previous experience with financial controlling and analysis is strongly preferred
  • Operational (P&L) finance experience in a commercial environment
  • Previous experience working in a Pharmaceutical finance environment strongly preferred
  • Well based knowledge and understanding of financial and management accounting – USGAAP understanding is a must
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to explain financial issues to a non-finance audience
  • Must effectively work with diverse groups and be able to work across organizational, geographical and functional boundaries to solve problems and achieve results
  • Must be able to meet strict tight deadlines on a regular basis and simultaneously handle multiple work priorities
  • Independent, self-starter mentality – able to take over easily and responsibly
  • Resilience and persistent to implement changes
