Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices is looking for a EMEA CommEx Data Manager in the EMEA Commercial Excellence team.
You will be the BPO for Hubble and accountable for overall EMEA data quality and business/IT partner alignment across OneMD EMEA organization.
You work as part of a CommEx team serving as an expert resource aligning expectations across the business partners and the I/T teams with regards to data quality/validation, I/T processes and business functionalities delivered (specifically focusing on Hubble and ONE Force).
You negotiate and balance business priorities and I/T deliverables to ensure expectation alignment and on-time delivery. You work as part of a CommEx team supporting business needs as necessary and participate ad-hoc analysis that the regional team would be leading on the behalf of business stakeholders.
You solve complex or unusual problems in consideration of the potential impacts highlighting risks and benefits.
Some of the key deliverables are:
◦Collaborates with cross functional teams to define product requirements
◦Prioritizes product demand and backlog
◦Generates key user insights
◦Develops hypothesis on solutions
◦Supports definition of success criteria for products
◦Drives the team and ensures that all are working towards a common goal, ultimately delivering value
◦Elaborates on stories during sprint planning
◦Approves new stories and adds regular feedback during sprint reviews
◦Participates in retrospectives
◦Prioritize functionality for releases
◦Owns User acceptance testing (validation of UAT scenarios and of UAT scenario execution) and go no go for Release
◦Ensures adoption and that the next iteration is what the users need
◦Keeps a close eye on usage and determines next steps
◦Conduct surveys and feedback sessions to remain close to users
Expert working knowledge of changing business processes and the subsequent impact on applications. Expert understanding of I/T's technology standards and strategies.
Supervision Received/Provided: Functions very independently, receiving high-level and/or strategic guidance; able to self-direct, plan and execute initiatives (projects, programs, strategies). Manages business partner expectations at a senior level, resolving conflicts between requirements, resources. Works independently in formulating innovative ideas and solutions on processes, and systems. May manage vendors necessary to complete a project.
- Degree in IT, Business, Economics, Applied Sciences or equivalent is preferred. MBA would be a plus
- Fluent spoken and written English is essential. German, French or Italian is a plus. Required 20-30% of travelling time within the region
Knowledge and experience required:
- 5-7 years of IT project management required
- Expert understanding of technology lifecycle management, serving as a resource to others.
- Project management expertise – able to drive multi track projects
Reports to CommEx Senior Operations Lead and dotted line to Senior Business Insights and Analytics Lead.
