Manages the Payroll Operations and Payroll and Time and Attendance team in processing a full in-house payroll. Ensures all payrolls delivered are timely, accurate and complaint with Company policies and regulatory requirements. Develops and implements best practices in close collaboration with peers and other functions, especially HR, IT and Finance. Leverages resources and experience cross-country where possible. Implements payroll and time and attendance strategies and maintain processes to support the preparation of payroll processing including the simulation of payroll, audit reports, validations and running out of payroll.
You will be responsible of:
•Processing of Payrolls - Time & Attendance for all Johnson & Johnson employees using the Specific TPV payroll Software ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all payroll cycles.
•Providing guidance and support for processing of Payroll Master Data in accordance with operational procedures and payroll policies. Collaboration with HR Services and other functions to ensure all data is accurate and within payroll deadlines for processing.
•Developing and implementing procedures to support the management of mass upload files and reconciliations.
•Managing interface processing of all payroll cycles including the monitoring of processing errors.
•Managing the approval and processing of off cycle payments.
•Managing Global Mobility modified payroll in partnership with Deloitte.
•Developing internal and external communications for specific payroll processes.
•Maintaining all compliance requirements for assigned Payroll processes.
•Ensuring Payroll is processed in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements.
•Supporting the development and execution of the SOX Program (404).
•Supporting internal audits, external audits (PwC), Pension audits and government audits.
•Maintaining and enhancing Payroll Service Center Teams performance to improve effectiveness and efficiency and support strategic direction.
•Developing, coaching and mentoring a high performance motivated team.
•Setting annual goals and develops effective career and development paths.
•Encouraging continuous learning design and implement customer service improvement initiatives.
Requirements and Education:
•University/ Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
•08 to 10 years in financial experience.
•Previous experience in Payroll Operations, Accounting or service center role.
•Experience in developing/Improving Payroll processes to maximize efficiency & deliver quality services.
•Experience with Payroll applications required.
Knowledge and Skill Sets:
•Accounting, Business, Finance or related.
•Experienced with Mexico Payroll and labor legislations.
•Strong social skills and the ability to interact skillfully and confidently with internal partners and colleagues to develop ideas, find opportunities and influence outcomes.
