Position Summary

  • Lead the Brand Strategy for SEA, building brand equity consistent with the brand spotlight, growth plans and creative direction aligned with global brand identity
  • Lead the overall portfolio making decisions to maximize ROI
  • Play a strategic leadership role in delivering the SEA strategy for the Baby portfolio, influence and lead the relationship with Global Franchise Organization (GFO) on regional strategy and ensure local brand relevance for SEA and strong implementation or strategy initiative to drive growth and share
  • Develop a highly engaged and committed team who work in a positive style committed to delivering growth, and working collaboratively with the broader SEA Brand Amplification teams, cross functional partners and extended providers
Main accountabilities:

1. Marketing Strategy and Planning across SEA
  • Lead SEA market expansion and new product development initiatives in collaboration with the GFO and global strategy, contributing to the achievement of revenue and profit targets
  • Work with Regional and Global teams as required as part of Regional Franchise Leadership Teams (RFLT’s/GFLT’s) in the creation of brand strategies and plans
  • Develop close partnerships with GFO teams, cross functional teams, Brand Amplification Leaders and Commercial leaders in market to align and gather insights for strategy development
  • Influence regional and own SEA development of the 5-yr brand innovation strategy and lead new product development projects including regional products and deployment of global pipeline into SEA
  • Lead project teams for SEA programs, partnering GFO, supply chain, PMO, R&D and packaging to design SEA initiatives or deploy global pipeline
  • Make RGM, pricing and forecast recommendations to deliver new product process requirements
  • Design and adapt packaging graphics, partnering with markets
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate growth in existing markets and develop entry strategies for new markets in partnership with GFO, global and local Brand Amplification teams
  • Own development of SEA communication campaigns and Launch Kits
  • Lead cross agency team to develop global integrated connections plan, content guidelines and multi-media content development across multiple markets
  • Develop marketing strategies and plans based on strong consumer and healthcare professional (HCP) insights with the objective of growing sales and share through stronger brand equity
2. Financial Performance
  • Own delivery of brand financial and strategic plans and key activities to deliver on financial metrics for the portfolio
  • Lead SEA market expansion and new product development initiatives in collaboration with the GFO and global strategy, contributing to the achievement of revenue and profit targets
  • Deliver gross and net trade sales and grow market share across portfolio and categories.
    Manage BME to agreed levels investing on aligned programs and activities ensuring the team post evaluate to assess impact, ROI and changes to future campaigns sharing learnings with the broader team
  • Ensure the team maintain tight financial rigor, compliant actions and work with the broader team with the primary goal of delivering the total company number as well as their own portfolio objectives
3. People Leadership
  • Create a high-performance environment and culture of collaboration and innovation with cross functional partners and marketing counterparts
  • Responsible for a team of marketers and will play a leadership role in talent management, development and succession planning
  • Coach, develop and support the direct team while accelerating the development of key talent, building a diverse team
  • Build a highly engaged and committed team who work with a positive can do style and with genuine committed team work with marketing, cross functional partners and the extended brand team (agencies)
  • Build strong and broad relationships across SEA and through the regional and global brand teams and make a positive impact on the business output
  • Build strong and professional relationships with agency and business partners
4. Marketing Excellence
  • Lead the team in the discovery and application of consumer and HCP insights including post reviews and learnings sessions
  • Develop high impact marketing plans that deliver on growth aspirations for both sales, market share and profit based on the most effective and efficient marketing channels
  • As part of a global business build and manage the local innovation pipeline moving projects through stage gates in an efficient manner
  • Identify growth opportunities and work with the broader organization to align support and resources to capitalize on these opportunities

  • University degree in Business administration or respective studies (Major in marketing would be an advantage) 
  • 10+ years brand marketing experience within CPG organizations with expertise in delivering against global brand strategies and experience in creating and executing local brand strategies 
  • Experience in capability marketing in the digital world, i.e., social media, e-commerce, analytics, on-line
  • Skilled in Word, Excel and Power Point 
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to translate this to effective business decision making
  • Experienced working in a matrix environment and cross functional teams
  • Solid analytical thinking - ability to use analytics and data to drive informed decisions and strategies
