Senior Financial Analyst Supply Chain Finance J&J Vision Surgical Inventory

Scope of the Role:

The position has a focus on worldwide inventory finance processes and supporting the Supply Chain Plan group which includes planning, inventory accounting, consolidating results and providing fact based variance analysis. Strong collaboration has to be developed with plant controllers and regional shared service centers to ensure timely and accurate analytics, within a well-controlled, SOX compliant, budgetary forecast and actual reporting framework.

The SFA is part of the Vision Principal team which is responsible for reporting and forecasting WW Vision inventory and all of the components of intercompany profit, profit in inventory, transactional Fx management, intercompany pricing, system income and support of tax structures. The SFA reports to the SC Finance Manager based in Zug, Switzerland.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: 


¨  Operational inventory accounting close activities. Ensuring compliance with SOX, J&J World Wide Procedures and Internal Control Handbook.


¨  Performs and presents WW inventory consolidation for reporting, tracking, budgeting. Providing fact based analytics on gross & net inventory levels.


¨  Be key SC finance business partner on S&OP process and WW inventory reporting to support Plan group decision making.


¨  Build effective business partner relationships with Vision Surgical franchise business leaders to capture commercial forecast & manufacturing production input.


¨  Support integration of Vision Surgical in J&J with focus on AGP & inventory activities.

- Bachelor and/or Master Degree in Finance & Economics

- 5+ years finance/accounting experience, including business planning, reporting, and analysis

- Strong Excel skills

- Familiar with ERP and reporting systems (SAP, TM1)

- Multi-national environment experience

- Knowledge of J&J Worldwide Procedures, Internal Control Handbook, Bravo reporting are an advantage

- Strong communication & business partnering skills

- The role requires travel up to a maximum of 50% during initial setup (6-12 months) - (mainly to Switzerland)
