The Medical Devices sector of Johnson & Johnson is now looking for Sales Manager for ORTHO portfolio:

The Medical Devices segment produces a broad range of innovative products used primarily by health care professionals in the fields of orthopaedics, neurovascular, surgery, vision care, diabetes care, infection prevention, cardiovascular disease, sports medicine, and aesthetics. This segment comprises of the One Medical Devices, Global Orthopaedics and Global Surgery Groups.

Full-time contract

Role Overview:
Management of the sales team and responsible for the sales results in a designated region and business unit. Increase market share, turnover and profitability in respective BU in the country

Key responsibilities:

Sales targets:

• Coach and support Sales Consultants in achievement of sales budgets
• Execution of the BU strategies in the country level
• Identify opportunities to improve sales performance, either in individual product unit ranges or across the whole portfolio. Work with partners to act on findings.
• Regularly reviewing sales, projects, launches and taking appropriate action with SC and PM and report it to CM
• Setting priorities and align resources with smaller sales team
• Executes effective product launches according the plan made together with PM and CM
• Profitable execution of the investment plans

Account Management:

• Manage relationship to surgeons and hospital administration in entire region, address educational and administrative needs
• Develop appropriate key account plans together with KAM´s
• Communicating and agreeing objectives with Sales Consultants together with reviewing and updating those objectives with Sales Consultants on a monthly basis
• Making regular field visits to support sales consultants, projects, negotiations, launches and manage relationships
• Ensuring that Sales Consultants develop good call patterns


• Line manager for sales consultants. Set objectives and priorities, monitor and correct performance, conduct appraisals, develop talents
• Agreeing and organizing response to training needs
• Organizing and conducting interviews to recruit new Sales Consultants and advising on the content of the offer of employment
• Responsible for all matters relating to disciplinary procedures affecting the team
• Arbitrating in disputes or misunderstandings

• Meet all applicable quality and compliance requirements (i.e. HCC/HCBI/ANTI-CORRUPTION/FCPA/US-GCC/Privacy/SOX/QA/Safe Fleet)
• On time reporting of spontaneous adverse events (AE) reports and quality complaints for all products
• Successfully complete all mandatory training on time
