Medical Devices Segment- Johnson Medical
Our Medical Devices business segment produces a broad range of innovative products and solutions used primarily by health care professionals in the fields of orthopedics, neurological disease, vision care, infection prevention, cardiovascular disease, and aesthetics.
Reports to: Strategic Public Accounts Director
Number of direct Reports: 7
Bid Management is completely responsible for identifying, processing, gathering documents and integrating the bid materials with inputs from the franchises, channel, finance and any other required area.
Bid Manager is responsible to: (1) maximize the success ratio of bid identification, (2) increase the number of bids that we attend / win (through intelligent analysis), (3) clearly map where the full potential opportunities are based on the market, (4) provide analysis to other areas which enables further sales, (5) anticipate, coordinate and communicate major/relevant bids and trigger demand generation in coordination with Sales Managers and Account Managers (5) reduce the time of franchises spent on bidding and focus their time on selling by involving areas such as legal, cls, planning, customer service, quality, regulatory, etc.
Duties & Responsibilities
Prioritize bids activities based on company strategy, sales/revenue impact, new products, success probability of success and profitability
Management of bids database in order provide intelligent analysis regarding past bid information (volume, channel, price, institution, documents required)
Provide historic bids information reports, analysis and facilitate interaction with franchises
Bid autopsies (analysis of dismissal causes)
Responsible for bid integration delivered on time and complete by Bid Analyst
Generate knowledge and improve internal bidding processes both for internal sales force and prioritized distributors
Monitor post-bidding information in order to inform of contract fulfillment
Increase satisfaction service levels.
Increased participation in bidding processes (# of bids and/or offered $)
Increased success rate in bidding processes (won budget in $ vs. PY by account)
Proposal compliance (failure rate)
Total sales to governmental institution
Collaborate with commercial and marketing areas to increase market share in prioritized accounts through won bids.Calificaciones

- Required Experience:
- Results oriented individual with ability to lead and influence others both internally and externally
- Experience in project management
- Detailed understanding of regulatory and Cuadro Básico process
Understands government purchasing process and procurement cycles
Manage priorities, communication skills,
Preferred additional experiences: general understanding of healthcare sector, IT, tender business
