Strategic Marketing Director for OTC and EP

Overall Purpose of Job
Responsible for OTC therapeutic area strategies (Cough, Cold, Pain, Allergy, DH, SC, Wound Care and AF), portfolio management and pipeline development. This includes product development and readiness (early stage to late stage) and assiting In-Line on launch excellence. Role is also responsible for white space and new compounds assessment. Role is also responsible in driving the strategic planning process for the identified disease areas.
Responsible for developing and implementation of OTC strategy and pipeline in China in line with the J&J Global OTC strategy.
Broad and deep cross-functional as well as global/regional
Portfolio Management for the OTC and EP products of the organization.
Drive Pipeline Sufficiency for idnetified priority needstates and therapeutic areas
Lead, Manage and Develop a broad strategic marketing team across different need states and brands
Work with Strategic Insights and Patient Engagement Team as well as BD in identifying new business opportunities as well as commercial innovation applicable to Tas in scope.
Work with RFO in Equity discussions on iconic brands in idnetified Tas.
Works with BU to delive a long term sustainable growth strategy
Work with the technical community to develop new products and claims
Represent China in the RSGC meeting to drive the pipeline.
Defining strategic imperatives and priorities within the OTC and EP portfolio
Provide understanding of the external environment and identify future market trends
Drive brand protection initiatives and trademark protection in potential new areas within innovation strategy scope.
Represent the China business in the GFO (Global Franshicise Organizations) and EP IVT (Established Products Integrated Value Teams) forums.
Lead and coordinate with global stakeholders on umbrella branding and active ingredient strategies
Qualifications and requirements
Ten plus years of healthcare marketing and sales expereince (OTC, Pharm, Health and Wellness)
Prove track record of success in developing and luanching new products as well as business models
Strong leadership and people development skills.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work with a broad base of internal and external partners
Fluent in English
