Lead market research projects and prepare and/or supervise forecasting and secondary data analyses to support New Products in development and Licensing and Acquisition Deals.  Develop and direct the execution of primary and secondary market research strategies to support business needs.  Translate market research data and analyses into strategy recommendations and clinical development plans that drive growth and that drive forecasting assumptions and forecast flows. 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Recommends and develops market research methodologies/studies
  • Identifies and prioritizes market research projects
  • Leverages customer insights (physician, payers and consumers) to shape and influence business strategies
  • Proactively identifies learning needs to deliver deep customer insights
  • Assess multiple forecast inputs to develop appropriate forecasts supporting L&A opportunities
  • Proactively identify upsides and shortfalls to Base Case forecasts
  • Develop executive presentations and present market research insights and forecasting assumptions to Sr. Management
  • Supervision of one direct report

Qualifications
Master Degree or Equivalent preferred
  • 10 years related experience required
  • Ability to learn and understand multiple therapeutic areas required
  • Experience and proficiency in conducting Primary MR Projects and Developing Forecast models required
  • A strong understanding and proficiency of qualitative and quantitative research methods required
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate research findings into actionable recommendations for strategic decisions and business growth preferred
  • Strong skills in strategic thinking and initiative
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, presentation  and leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of the Mx Process preferred
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience required
  • Supervisory Experience preferred
  • The ability to travel up to 25% is required
