The Cardiovascular & Specialty Solutions (CSS) Group, part of the Medical Devices sector within Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting for a Global Business Unit (GBU) Finance Director who will support the Mentor Worldwide business, located in Irvine, CA.

•Provide strong finance leadership by collaborating with the Mentor Global Business Unit President and his/her teams to develop and successfully implement specific strategies that foster growth for the Business Unit
•Will be an integral member of the Mentor Business Unit cross functional Leadership Team and is the lead business partner to the President providing support for all financial items and business strategy
•Provide timely input/advice on all key operational and strategic matters by providing business unit leadership with relevant and timely information to make informed business decisions
•Identify areas of opportunity to drive topline growth globally and partner with BU President and regional leadership to execute on growth plans
•Partner with regional leaders to consolidate, analyze and drive worldwide financial results, proactively optimize areas of the P&L where opportunities exist
•Identify financial opportunities and risks to the annual business plan and provide risk mitigation strategies to achieve targets
•Portfolio/Prioritization: Key partner in developing business cases and driving decisions to support key initiatives over strategic plan horizon  
•New Business Development: Financial lead on acquisition/divestiture, licensing, partnership activity
•Support of New Product Launches: Financial leadership and oversight of new product launches including investment and valuation activity 
•Financial Budgeting & Forecasting: Responsible for forecasting, consolidation of global financials and allocation of investment dollars across functions in conjunction with BU President
•Presentation and Business Reviews: including leadership team meetings, new product development approval committees, etc.
•Organizational Development: responsibility for direct oversight and development of direct reports
•Responsible for ensuring compliance to Sarbanes Oxley requirements and supporting compliance processes. Follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices. 

•A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
•CPA/CMA and/or MBA is preferred.
•A minimum 10 years of experience in Finance/Accounting is required.
•People Management experience is required.
•Strategic thinking with Big Picture orientation and strong business partnering, collaboration, influencing and interpersonal skills required.
•Must have strong leadership abilities, master complexity and have strong negotiation and presentation skills required.
•Ability to use compelling arguments to influence and gain the support and commitment of others, especially in a matrixed environment
•Acquisition/divestiture, licensing, and partnership activity experience is preferred. 
•This position may require up to 20% domestic and international travel. 
•This position is located in Irvine, CA.
