Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices, a member of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Worldwide Commercial Education, Knee Reconstruction & Robotics located in Warsaw, IN, Raynham, MA, or Palm Beach Gardens, FL.


Do you have a passion for building clinical skills? Do you have experience in the Joint Reconstruction or Robotics space? As a Senior Manager, WW Commercial Education, Knee Reconstruction & Robotics, you will be responsible for developing the global learning strategies and programs for our field sales organization. We are searching for a someone who will create the global strategy, develop content/programs, and conduct global train the trainer (TTT) events. Your expertise is needed to ensure our training has a high degree of global consistency and elevates competencies of our field-based organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with functional & commercial leaders to understand global and regional business strategy and commercial models
  • Lead global governance team to develop curriculum strategy and content design to ensure global consistency, quality, effectiveness and compliance
  • Collaborate with strategic marketing and regional commercial education to develop and at times, deliver educational programs that support business objectives
  • Build content toolkits for new product introductions
  • Craft learning strategy, design and deploy curriculum (anatomy product, procedure, clinical, non-clinical); Ensure alignment with commercial business plans
  • Manage the workload, performance, and development of one direct report
  • Build a sustainable global Field Sales Training program to support new hires
  • Facilitate virtual/live training classes as needed to build clinical and non-clinical proficiency of sales/clinical team
  • Work with strategic vendors and act as subject matter expert for training development
  • Ensure that all learning content is current, copy approved and compliant with all government and legal requirements; Define asset library creation
  • Create and maintain business plan and operating budget
  • Identify and evaluate trends in learning media and technology-based performance development solutions to maximize effectiveness and innovation of training programs



Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7 years of Medical Device experience
  • Strong clinical expertise or orthopedic/medical device training experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Digital /MS Office proficiency
Preferred:
  • Expertise in medical device sales
  • 5 years of Knee Reconstruction experience      
  • Commercial experience with complex technologies and/or capital equipment
  • Orthopedic/medical device trainer experience
  • Current or previous experience with adult learning concepts/training facilitation
  • Experience using and/or implementing modern educational technologies
  • Experience working in additional commercial function (sales training, marketing, etc.)
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Skills:
  • Strategy development and execution
  • Applies adult learning principals and utilize professional facilitation skills when training others (virtual/live)
  • Ability to lead projects by establishing clear deliverables and timeliness
  • Creative, practical problem solving
  • Proven leadership ability to effectively motivate and lead team of professionals, including personnel who may be working in other locations in the US and outside the US
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams and across a matrix organization
  • Ability to project manage vendor resources

  • Office deskwork, requiring sitting, walking, using phone and computer
  • May lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
  • Overnight domestic and international travel may be required up to 25%
