The Medical Sciences Teams are dedicated to the generation, analysis and unbiased dissemination of quality scientific data relevant to our products and therapeutic areas of interest.
 
What does the intern role entail?
 
As a Medical Sciences Intern, although you will report to a line manager, you may have several concurrent projects that have been identified by the Medical Directors. These may include the following:
 
  • Perform deep scientific data dives in various therapeutic areas as determined by need (i.e. hematology, oncology, immunology) and generate summary reports as appropriate
  • Manage a defined project in an area of clinical research and/or data generation
  • Develop tools for specific medical sciences processes and assist with the department’s effort to improve processes

Qualifications
What are we looking for in an intern?
  • Completed (or entering last year in September) undergraduate degree in biological sciences, pharmacy or related discipline is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with searching literature databases (i.e. PubMed).
  • Strong computer skills and/or IT background preferred (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
