The Calibration Technician I position will work in a medical device manufacturing environment in support of all calibration activities relating to the development, inspection, testing, and production of product. 

This position will perform calibrations on a wide variety of IM&TE (Inspection, Measurement, and Test Equipment) and process control/manufacturing equipment to established specifications. The technician will maintain IM&TE scheduling and tracking database, generate calibration reports, service, and calibrate custom IM&TE from approved drawings using geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principals.

You will:
• Perform the timely execution of routine and non-routine calibration activities associated with current general methods and procedures on production and facility instrumentation.
• Evaluate and update calibration standard operating procedures.
• Suggest and implement improvements to existing standard operating procedures for calibration methods and systems.
• Develop a deep understanding of the manufacturing process and equipment operation to help to identify calibration needs.
• Ensure the calibration status of all measuring and critical manufacturing equipment.
• Verify the completion of calibration test records, check reports on calibration failures and ensure that calibration activities are performed in a professional and efficient manner to minimize equipment and/or line down time.
• Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations, the companies’ policies, procedures and guidelines ensure quality and compliance.
• Manage documentation including; editing documentation, document process steps per documentation directives and document all activities per the GMP the requirements.
• Regularly collaborate with production personnel, inspection personnel, Quality engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing. 
• Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times. 
• Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer. 
• Perform other duties as required.




Qualifications
• A high school diploma, GED or equivalent is required
• Basic mathematics skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) are required 
• Experience with applicable systems including; Microsoft Office, SAP or ERP system as well as other relevant systems is a plus
• Basic computer skills are required
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize with little supervision
• Excellent attention to detail, communication and organizational skills are required
• The ability to meet the physical demands of this position including; continuous walking, lifting and/or moving from 5 to 25lbs. weight material and frequent lifting or moving average (25-50) weight material is required.
• This position requires a daily commute to West Chester, PA Monday – Friday for the 1st shift working hours of 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM with over time and weekends as needed.
