EDN Country Support Specialist

As member of the EDN Country Support team, you’ll be part of the European Distribution Network within the J&J DELIVER EMEA Pharm Supply Chain. This dynamic and motivated team manages the operational outbound distribution processes of Janssen products in the EMEA region from manufacturing to central hubs, worldwide distribution centres and the end-customer. Considering the end-to-end mindset we strive towards within our organization, the EDN Country Support team also coordinates various repack activities within the network to remain compliant with all predefined standards.

You’ll be responsible for one or more EMEA countries within the distribution network. The aim of this would be that you act like a single point of contact for all stakeholders to support the end-to-end supply chain processes and value-added services resulting in excellent customer experience.

Distribution responsibilities:
  • Complaint reporting and trending
  • Be a single point of contact for a country for various adhoc and recurrent matters
  • Monitor daily in- & outbound processes for prioritization and issues
  • Measure and give reason to distribution KPIs
  • Prepare and host monthly performance review meetings
  • Connect and mobilize stakeholders (Customer Service, Affiliate Supply, Quality, Operations, …)
  • Initiate and support various process improvement or CIP projects
Value added service responsibilities:
  • Central consolidation of repack requests for your country
  • Support repack execution in SAP
  • Forecast generation for repack
  • Identification of Inventory Destruction Avoidance opportunities
  • Align with various stakeholders in the repack process to get the activities done correctly and on time


To accomplish the above activities, we’re looking for someone with a certain background:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. Advanced degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years working in any Supply Chain related field is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in logistics, customer service, value added services or planning is preferred
  • Experience working with ERP systems (eg. SAP) is preferred
  • Experience working with regional and diverse teams is a plus
