Contribute to the overall development and performance of Janssen in country as a senior leader
Lead and be accountable for successful implementation of national market access and lead the coordination of Market Access Plans for patient access to commercialization Janssen product
Coordinate and execute stakeholder engagement to drive access proactivity and shape the external environment to recognize value of pharmaceutical innovation
Provide leadership for HEMAR managers to ensure broad market access by timely engagement of payers and implementation of tools for successful outcome
Key Role Activities
Lead and be accountable for Country Market Access and implement country market access plans according to price guidance and reimbursement time-lines including people leadership of country HEMAR managers.
Accountable for deliverables to HTA agencies (dossiers, cost-effectiveness models) are at right quality to speed up market access.
Demonstrates thought leadership by raising awareness of pricing and market access opportunities & threats with key stakeholders and develops a sense of urgency to formulate solutions that achieve change in the market access system and outcome.
Develops market access tactics; purpose specific actions in alignment with Nordic HEMAR and CVTs and input into Nordic Market Access plan in business plans/cycles.
Lead the work regarding deep country Reimbursement/funding environment knowledge and drive key topics to succeed in sound market access environment in the country that rewards pharmaceutical innovation.
Shape the pharmaceutical funding environment together with external affairs lead in country to securing early access for pharmaceutical innovations and develop stakeholder action and communication plans towards payers, and general public for focused brands.
Active member in trade association HTA group/topics and other relevant groups or other external collaborations with other companies
Identifying in collaboration with Nordic IEGP leads specific country RWE needs from a market access perspective and driving identified projects in collaboration with other internal and external stakeholders
To lead the work of continuously search for collaboration opportunities with market access stakeholders by mapping the customer environment in order to identify individuals or groups that have high influence and seek new opportunities regarding funding and access
Seeks to create clarity for self and others on the key market access priorities vs other competing tasks and meetings taking into account the stage of product.
Required knowledge, skills, experience
Master’s degree preferably in Economics
Having experience regarding Cost-Effectiveness
Relevant Market Access experience from health care sector and/or pharmaceutical industry with at least 5-7 years of experience
Good understanding of health care organization and pharmaceutical access conditions in country
Fluent in spoken and written English and country language
Strong networking skills, external as well as internal with an entrepreneurial mindset
Strong business and scientific acumen
Great command of communication skills, verbal, oral and written, and good presentation skills
Ability to create an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect both internally and externally
