We are looking for an Associate Director/Director Market Access RWE Partnerships.  The role includes two key elements (i) to support Janssen’s ongoing RWE collaraboration with the Karolinska Insitute in Stockholm and (ii)  to enable increased access to high quality patient-level data. These data and analyses will examine a range of clinical and economic outcomes that will both inform and complement the evidence generated in our R&D clinical development programs.
This role is based in our Janssen satellite office at the Karolinska Institute Science Park, Stockholm, Sweden. Up to 20% travel may be needed.
  • Contribute to the design and management of research workstreams within our existing research partnership with the Karolinska Institute.
  • Identify relevant data sources and  ensure access to relevant clinical and economic data that inform and complement our R&D clinical development programs with evidence relevant for payers, regulators and other stakeholders.   
  • Work in a structured and collaborative way with external research partners at the Karolinska Institute and other external organizations to identify relevant data and/or conduct relevant analyses.
  • Work with Janssen colleagues to understand key global and regional research needs and opportunities.  Contribute to Integrated Evidence Generation Plans (IEGPs) for key products and foundational evidence plans for Disease Area Strongholds.
  • Lead data generation projects and study teams including: protocol development, planning, management and publication.


  • Good understanding of quantitative analyses, clinical trials and epidemiology.
  • Experience and knowledge of different secondary data sources.
  • Ability to think and act strategically.
  • Able to organize work into clear and realizable project plans.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaboration skills relevant to working across a matrixed, international organization.
  • Complies with designated SOP’s and mandatory training for the role including: pharmacovigilence, Health Care Compliance and data privacy requirements.
  • Degree in a relevant scientific (life sciences or quantitative) discipline.
  • Knowledge of Real World Evidence and experience in evidence generation including dissemination.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a complex and diverse organization, able to successfully influence and network in a matrix environment.
  • Knowledge of drug development, clinical trials and clinical practice in a relevant therapeutic area (Cardiovascular and Metabolism, Immunology, Infectious Diseases & Vaccines, Neuroscience, Oncology and Pulmonary diseases) is an advantage.
  • Position as Associate Director or Director depending on skills and experience.
