OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:

The EMEA Customer Website Manager will be responsible for managing the strategy of Janssen Medical Cloud, the Janssen Company website dedicated to Healthcare Professionals. He will develop best practices for the European Strategy Office & our Operating Companies and should be well-versed in multichannel strategies, customer journeys and website best practices.

As the leader of the web strategy team, this person will be responsible for driving performance through the website and will be a key contributor to the marketing team(s). The EMEA Customer Website Manager will stay up-to-date on current industry trends and will be prepared to train team members on relevant topics, as needed.
The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of Digital User Experience and has a clear understanding of multichannel customer journeys. He has the objective of securing the design principles of Janssen Medical Cloud, based on customers’ expectations & preferences. He decides in close collaboration with our Operating Companies on any planned development of new and/or enhanced capabilities of the website. As such, he owns and continuously updates the customer website roadmap and is the final decision taker on prioritization of the roadmap elements.
In close partnership with IT and digital team leaders (Operating Companies and European Strategy Office), he is developing, maintaining and expanding Janssen Medical Cloud as a cornerstone of Janssen multichannel ambition. building a comprehensive system that supports the goal of competitive leadership through impactful interactions with customers
 
MAIN ACTIVITIES/TASKS:
 
Website Strategy (JMC)
  • Strategize, plan, and execute website projects to drive customer acquisition through increasing quality organic traffic, and improving the experience and conversion of traffic inline with technology evolution, Customer Interaction Excellence strategy and business needs
  • Ensure relevant level of innovation by staying up to date with current industry and technology trends and regular contacts with external vendors
Business Owner of the website and key contact towards IT community
  • Build a strong digital network between Operating Companies and European Strategy Office to develop website projects.
  • Decision maker and final sign off on ordering of development changes
  • Secure design principles to ensure consistency & adoption
  • Implement and track a portfolio of services, including online events and multichannel campaigns
Management a team of 3-5 web professionals and external vendors; set and track performance goals that align with website goals
 
Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and external laws
  • Key contact towards HCC, Legal and Privacy community (GDPR) and first point of contact for internal audits
  • Ensure systems compliance to rules
 
Lead discussions for all website related topics
  • Expansion to other businesses
  • Alignment on Global Initiatives and best practice sharing with other regions & sectors

 


Qualifications
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • 5-7 years of web development experience
     
EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years working with large scale, enterprise websites
  • Agency experience working in a web project role
  • Experience managing an international virtual team
  • Experience implementing web content strategies
  • Experience in pharmaceutical environment is a plus

JOB LOCATION:
 
The role is Central Europe based and will involve travel (50%) within the home country and across the EMEA region.
 

It is anticipated that the role holder will be based in his/her current country of residence as long as easy access to travel/transportation and local hosting is available at a Janssen office.
