The company is seeking at present a:
 
Global Strategic Insight -Analytics Trainee Southern Europe
 
The Marketing Insights Analyst will be a key enabler to the J&J Analytics Mission: “To accelerate growth across need states and high-priority consumers through integrated, externally focused, advanced analytics actionable insights that drive competitive edge.”  This position reports to the Head of Global Strategic Insights – Southern Europe.
 
The position will primarily focus on the following:
 
Conduct analyses using key syndicated data (i.e., Nielsen, IMS, Kantar, Tableau,  Adobe Analytics) to derive insights and recommendations on how to action them in the market place in order to drive sustainable growth
Develop reporting tools that facilitates the uncovering of insights and opportunities for the organization.
Deploy effective operational reporting using advanced analytical tools that provides baseline of past performance and leverages insights to develop predictive and prescriptive analytics
Develop predictive propensity and segmentation models using statistical techniques such as logistic regression, cluster/factor analysis, neural networks
 
 
Major Responsibilities:
 
Manage the analytical needs and deliverables for the business unit; which includes conducting analysis to identify/assess business opportunities and address key business challenges.
 
Supporting and/or leading campaign analytics and data processing execution while developing predictive propensity and segmentation models using statistical techniques such as logistic regression, cluster/factor analysis, neural networks etc.
 
Keen knowledge and understanding of consumer, shopper and customer to develop reporting tools that facilitates the uncovering of insights and opportunities for the organization.
 
Help develop and implement analytical plans that deliver optimal consumer strategies and execution.  This includes revenue management, marketing mix analysis, product development initiatives, new market opportunities; competitors market penetration, product productivity. 
Champions a culture that treats data and analytics as a corporate asset through integrated, externally focused, advanced analytics and fact-based insights. 
Designing, developing and implementing performance metrics to support campaign measurement, analysis, and reporting and measure the effectiveness of predictive modeling efforts.
 
Identifying, verifying, evaluating and validating hidden patterns in digital data, formulating and executing queries, while working closely with the marketing and finance partners within the business unit to understand data availability and attributes
 
Deploys consistent and effective operational reporting using advanced analytical tools that provides baseline of past performance and leverages insights to develop predictive and prescriptive analytics, i.e. “what should we do?
 
 
 

Qualifications
 
University degree or Master's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, information management or related field.
 
Minimum 3 months experience in CPG Marketing analytics (marketing mix, campaign performance analysis, ROI, segmentations)
 
Competencies:
 
Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities and familiarity with business information generation and analysis methods required.  Proven ability to condense analysis into actionable insights.
 
Strong proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel and Word) is required.
Experience with statistical software, analytical tools and data query program languages such as MS Access, SQL and SAS is strongly preferred.
Fundamental understanding of key syndicated data (i.e., IMS, Nielsen, Kantar, Adobe Analytics).
 
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; including the ability to explain and simplify concepts and technologies to business leaders
Demonstrated strength in partnering with internal/external contacts to generate mutually beneficial, long-term opportunities
 
Languages:
High level of English is a must; while other languages from the Southern Europe cluster would be appreciated (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Greek).
