We are searching for the best talent for Occupational Nurse - Global Health Services Coordinator to be in Sao Jose Dos Campos

Purpose: Responsible for the delivery of nursing services at a site (s) with emphasis on injury/illness management, medical surveillance, employee accident case management and disability management. At this level the role has increased responsibility including, but not limited to, additional skills, multiple lines/products, diverse teams, etc.

You will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing shift team while actively contributing to the day-to-day operations, fostering a collaborative environment and leading by example.
  • Responsible for managing operational aspects of the team (e.g., technical development, career coaching, performance, training, and regulatory compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and by leading and developing a diverse team of occupational health professionals. The shift lead will also support the Site Leader in budgeting and other administrative task, as needed.
  • Ensure employee protection through appropriate occupational health programs implementation, primary care services and health promotion activation in accordance with J&J and Local Regulations and in close partnership with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Human Resources (HR), Facilities, and site leadership.
  • Maintains visibility as an Employee Health & Well-Being advocate and spokesperson for their shift. Continued engagement of key stakeholders to reinforce the strategic importance of building Health & Well-Being at J&J as part of our holistic Total Rewards and HR strategies.
  • Coordinates and execute the onboarding process for all physicians, nurses, and support staff; identifies individual start dates; ensures comprehensive and proper completion of medical documentation required for new hires.
  • Supports the development and implementation of strategies to elevate the patient experience.
  • Enable data-driven decision-making through fully implemented Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and innovative health technologies. Develop and improve individual digital skills across the team to support our initiatives and effectively demonstrate our impact on employee health outcomes and Occupational Health strategies.
  • SJC Specific Job Roles/Responsibility: carry out the control of occupational medical surveillance (complementary and clinical exams), management of absenteeism and social security leaves, promote health campaigns for employees, dissemination of health benefits (face-to-face and online fairs), lead the nursing team, support the local leader, participate in audits and inspections of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance.

Qualifiche

Education:

  • Required: Occupational Nurse

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 4-6 Years of Work Experience
  • Occupational Health experience in manufacturing.
  • Fluency in Portuguese is required, with excellent verbal communication and written presentation skills.
  • Intermediate Proficiency in English.
  • License according to local regulation.
  • Knowledge in applicable regulations and ability to manage occupational health related cases, including Case Management, Disability Management, Return to Work, etc.
  • Experience in Emergency Medical Response and Medical Crisis Management.
  • Occupational Health Education diploma, certification, or license according to local regulation.

Preferred:

  • Preferred AED and CPR certification.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and driving organizational effectiveness, including the ability to inspire and develop talent, foster a positive work environment, and implement strategies that enhance team performance and organizational efficiency.

Other:

  • 5% International Travel Required
  • Work standard shifts as scheduled, with flexibility to accommodate special shifts as needed based on site requirements.
  • This position will be included in the appropriate Medical Surveillance Program.
