Human Resources Leader (m/f/d) Supply Chain

This position will be dedicated to the New Consumer Health Company and will be based in Wuppertal, Germany .

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals.   

It is anticipated that, following the conclusion of the transaction, this position will be conveyed with New Consumer Health. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time. They would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.  

Job Description:

  • The Human Resources Leader Wuppertal Plant is responsible for deploying and executing HR strategy in partnership with Business leaders to drive the achievement of business objectives in the following areas: organizational design, succession planning, career management, performance management, and workforce planning.

  • The position will partner with HR and business leaders to execute talent strategies that anticipate and address future changes in business conditions, inclusive of growing and advancing diverse talent pools. Additionally, the position will deploy workforce planning and development proposals based on workforce data and external perspectives.

  • The HR Leader Wuppertal Plant will identify critical business capability needs, and closely partner with the business to develop and execute appropriate strategies to strengthen organizational priorities.

  • Additionally, this HR Leader will support key HR leaders in the cluster/region to support and define the EMEA deployment of Global strategy and change management initiatives for supply chain plants. This position will translate business vision into execution plans (i.e. alignment of team resources, workstreams, and activities) which are tied to objectives, measures, and timelines, leading to successful completion of projects.       

Qualifiche

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience required, minimum 3 years HR related experience in Germany

  • Consumer Health/FMCG Experience required

  • Experience in Supply Chain/Plant Management is a plus

  • Excellent learning agility – ability to digest information quickly, apply existing knowledge in new makes, make connections across different areas and identify key questions/areas to explore

  • Collaborative and applies a global mindset – can deliver strong results in close partnership with others across work areas, functions, and geographies

  • Strong analytic capabilities, enabling you to leverage data to generate insights and drive evidence-based decision making

  • Sophisticated critical and strategic thinking skills, with keen curiosity, aptitude for problem-solving, and willingness to take risks and challenge the status quo

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain pig-picture focus

  • Strong interpersonal, consultative, and facilitation skills

  • Experience with innovative change efforts, including developing and implementing detailed change management plans

  • 10% domestic travel

  • Fluency in German as well as very good English language skills are required
