Abiomed is seeking a talented Marketing Operations Manager to join our commercial marketing team focused on the Americas region. As a key contributor to our mission of Recovering Hearts and Saving Lives, you will be responsible for providing leadership, project management, design thinking, and effective operating mechanisms to our marketing organization.  In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our marketing organization, driving efficiency, innovation, and excellence in support of our mission to impact patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing operations strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and overall marketing goals.
  • Streamline marketing processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Oversee project management for marketing initiatives, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of projects within scope and budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement communication strategies that effectively convey Abiomed's mission, values, and product offerings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including digital assets, print collateral, and promotional materials.
  • Monitor marketing KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the marketing team by providing guidance on resource allocation, budget management, and performance tracking.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the marketing organization, encouraging the adoption of new ideas, processes, and technologies.
  • Leverage knowledge of marketing and physician psychology to partner effectively with marketing managers and stakeholders to produce marketing tools and programs inspire, inform, and captivate customers and the field.
  • In partnership with graphic designers (vendors or employees) delivers on:
    • Creating visual text and imagery concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate customers and the field.
    • Transforming statistical data into visual graphics and diagrams, which can make complex ideas more accessible.
    • Developing the overall layout and production design for advertisements (digital and print), brochures, logos, displays, imagery, advertorials, banners, email blasts, etc.
    • Developing sales tools, collateral, advertisement, and digital communications

Qualifiche

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or a related role within the medical device industry or a similar field.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing marketing operations strategies and communication plans.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of leading projects from concept to completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences, including internal teams, customers, and partners.
  • Proficiency in using marketing technology tools, such as marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
  • Adept at managing budgets, resources, and performance metrics for marketing initiatives.
  • Embody Abiomed's Patients First culture, demonstrating a positive attitude, open communication, and collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally
