Janssen Vaccines Bern is recruiting for an Experienced Production Planner, located in Bern, Swizerland.
This role ensures the maintenance of the production planning process, based on SAP ERP, for an efficient flow of materials, their requirements and information. You will be creating and maintaining Bills Of Materials, connecting and liaising with production engineers and operators, providing Buyers with requirements for materials; and planning production in SAP to ensure smooth operations execution and the successful delivery and release of our final product. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage SAP PP, including BOM, Production Versions, Planned and Process orders.
- Ensure consumption data accuracy, solving consumption errors with production teams.
- Build reports related to production scheduling, stock level, material disposal and availability.
- Own the material demand by timely adjusting the production plan.
- Control material availability, material reservations, and material master data.
- Establish effective communication with partners: Production, Material Science, Product Development, Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
- Coordinate all activities to receive, release and deliver material on time to production areas.
- Create SKUs in SAP, acting as request manager and Planning team workflow approver.
- Represent the team in core project team meetings and new product launches.
- Coordinate the planning of New Products Introduction according to GMP requirements
- Lead projects related to improvement of processes at cross-departmental or global level
Calificaciones
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration
Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years relevant Production Planning experience (Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing).
- Strong communication skills are needed in a diverse environment with many partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office package is key to be fast and effective.
- Expertise in using MS Excel, and managing data with ease, is fundamental in the team.
- Experience with SAP ERP (PP/MM modules) to enable efficiency and contribute to increasing its use outside of the department.
- Problem solving and analytical capabilities are paramount for being successful in this role.
- High motivation, adaptability, and flexibility are a must in our fast paced and dynamic environment!
Preferred:
- Coding and ETL data skills (VBA, SQL, PowerQuery, Alteryx)
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry and GMP environment
Other:
- Fluent in English
- German a plus
