As the Senior Operations Manager you have responsibility for an important part of the manufacturing operations in Beerse, Belgium. Reporting to the Business Unit Director, you will lead and develop a diverse and inclusive group of direct and indirect reports, including supervisors, manufacturing specialists, and production personnel to deliver production commitments in line with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality regulations in order to meet customer needs.
Your main responsibilities include:
- You manage the day-to-day operations in inspection sterile products, eye care and CAR-T kitting, ensuring key performance indicators regarding Safety, Quality, Reliability and Cost are met. You evaluate production performance and take appropriate action where needed in close collaboration with all functions and stakeholders.
- You represent the site as a spokesperson during audits and inspections and act as a single point of contact with assigned customers.
- You champion continuous improvement, challenging the status quo and leading the development and implementation of initiatives that improve overall organizational performance in a sustainable way.
- You ensure supervision and coaching of your team. You continuously expand your knowledge and the expertise of your team. Talent development is key for yourself but also for every individual in your team.
- You build a culture of high engagement and ownership at all levels in your organization by actively living the Credo and acting as a servant leader.
Calificaciones
- You have a master’s degree in Engineering, Sciences or equivalent.
- You have at least 5 years of working experience, preferably in the Chemical/ Pharmaceutical industry. Experience with aseptic/ sterile manufacturing is a plus.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and get energy from solving complex issues in team.
- You have a strong quality mindset and compliance orientation.
- You are a passionate and engaging people leader, capable of managing the various aspects of leadership and personnel strategy in a technical environment.
- You are fluent in both spoken and written Dutch and English.
