The Marketing Senior Director will be a member of the Biosense Japan Commercial Leadership Team. You will have direct responsibility for driving marketing strategies and key initiatives for Biosense Webster to profitably achieve the Japan commercial marketing strategy goals in line with HCC & CREDO Values. In this role, you will also have dotted line accountability for the CSS Strategy & Pipeline, which is responsible for managing strategic planning and pipeline project activities to achieve the business plan and accelerate future growth of the two franchises in CSS Japan, Biosense Webster and Cerenovus.

Key Responsibilities: 

•            Provide regional insights for global strategy development. 

•            Translate global/regional strategy into local/Japan execution and develop necessary capability to drive growth.

•            Create future sustainable competitiveness by continuing to evaluate our business models in the market and value propositions.

•            Responsible for informing portfolio needs to Global Strategic Marketing as a key stakeholder. 

•            Responsible for managing the Core business platforms, ensuring momentum and focus on execution. 

•            Accelerate growth for EP practice channels through market expansion and commercial acceleration.

•            Responsible for the development, execution, and business performance of programs designed to increase revenue and market share for Japan, in alignment with global source company and CSS APAC/GLOBAL strategies. 

•            Responsible for the management of relevant product lines in Japan and financial performance based on the finance controller.

•            Managing budget within constraints and measuring ROI on delivering business objectives 

•            Develops close working relationships with Japanese customers (KOLs, Doctors, Nurses, MEs, Administrators) to develop in-depth insights of unmet needs and cultivate external relationships. 

•            Utilizes and integrates market, healthcare environment, and financial metrics to drive evidence-based decision-making. 

•            Uses in-depth knowledge of regulatory, reimbursement, pricing, and healthcare environment to create strategies that transfer value into profitability. 

•            Oversees pipeline/portfolio planning projects based on medium to long term franchise strategy with local and global marketing, R&D teams, and external partners.

•            Oversees structural improvement activities to leverage innovation to maximize operational efficiency and productivity.

•            Continue to strengthen and develop talent and leadership pipeline. 

Job Requirements :

•            Track Analytical and strategic thinker, able to combine data and intuition when building a strategic plan.

•            Track record of achieving business results over time including sustained business growth is required. 

•            At least four years of experience in leading teams (sales and/or marketing) to drive business value and execute on strategy in differing market segments is required. 

•            Demonstrated success of collaboration with critical internal and external stakeholders and significant customer interface experience are required. 

•            Broad business insight and full P&L management experience are preferred. 

•            Prior success driving necessary strategic change to meet changing business needs, and exploring new business models are required. 

•            Multi-function experience; understands business processes, high negotiation skills and has passion to achieve sustained, superior results are preferred. 

•            Consistent record of translating global strategies into regional execution, developing marketing capabilities including market insights, understanding KOL development and regulatory environment are preferred. 

•            Consistent track record of developing talent, including deep pipelines and strong leadership teams is required. 

•            Experienced setting and communicating strategy to executive leadership is required. 

•            Able to communicate vision in a way that creates excitement and alignment.

•            Has demonstrated change leadership. 

•            Possesses a high degree of self-confidence, courage, and conviction. 

•            A strong contributor to team dynamic in previous roles.

•            Excellent collaborator.

Calificaciones

•            Degree and/or postgraduate management qualification would be advantageous but not essential.

•            Global experience is preferred. 

•            Healthcare experience is strongly preferred. 

•            Previous Medical Device and Cardiology (electrophysiology) experience is preferred.
