Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines (JJIM), Established Products Organization is recruiting for an Established Products Project Management Office (PMO) Co-Op based in Titusville NJ.
Established Products (EP) is a Functional area within the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO) Organization of JJIM. EP is responsible for the late lifecycle management and optimization of a variety of legacy products across a diverse group of therapeutic areas. These include Cardiovascular, Metabolism and Pulmonary Hypertension, Immunology, Oncology, Neuroscience, Infections Disease and Internal Medicine.
The EP PMO directly supports and reports into EP, providing project management leadership to the EP TAs to define program plans, operationalize strategy, build deliverables and milestones, drive measuring and reporting metrics, proactive risk management, budget management, timeline and key event management, scenario planning, drives insights and data generation to aid decisions and supports overall teaming. Furthermore the EP PMO upports the EP Strategic Process which drives strategic and operational direction for the entire portfolio of assets in EP.
The EP PMO Co-Op position supports the PMO to help drive business improvement projects and help expand capabilities related to driving efficient EP Deliverables and milestones across the entire EP Portfolio of work, directly supporting the Project Management Leaders (PML’s).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Project Planning and coordination activities, supporting the PMO team by helping to establish objectives, scope and metrics.
- Help to drive standard processes with progress tracking for the EP portfolio book of work.
- Collaborate with other functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of key Project results.
- Support the PML to Manage CDT information, documentation and team communication to ensure timeline and accurate dissemination of the CDT strategy and operational status throughout the organization and with external partners (where appropriate)
- Contribute to the improvement and project management processes and methodologies.
- Assist in preparing project status reports, Charters, Power points, leading schedules resources and budgets.
- Work with the PMLs and other functional team members, in the execution of specific tasks and projects to support key programs and initiatives related to PMO processes and framework, to help support delivering the portfolio objectives.
- Support Core PML methodologies, Tools and framework to help the overall delivery of operationalizing Key CDT strategies.
- Candidate will have direct mentoring and guidance from the Associate Director, Project Management Leader (PML) for EP.
Qualifications
Education:
- Sophomore, Junior, Senior or graduate student enrolled in Bachelor's or masters Degree program in Science, Math, Engineering, Statistics, Business, or related subject area is required.
- Advanced program. (MBA, Organizational Management, Six Sigma Program, Advanced Analytics) (preferred)
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Problem solving capabilities, Leadership Capabilities, Excellent analytical, investigational and organizational skills to identify potential gaps and provide recommended solutions.
- Excellent social skills to interact with essential team members, colleagues and management.
- This position is in Titusville, NJ and requires a commute to that location daily.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future.
- Candidates must be thorough, highly organized and able to lead multiple tasks.
- Candidates must have the ability to work individually (independently) as well as on a team.
- Candidates need to be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel (including a high proficiency with generating pivot tables and graphs), and Power Point, and have strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to learn technology and adapt as needed.
- Experience in Microsoft Project preferred.
- A minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 is strongly preferred.
- Participation in campus/community service activities is desired
Technical Degrees:
The anticipated base pay for this position is Sophomore $25.00/hr, Junior $26.00/hr, Senior $28.00/hr, Master’s degree $33/hr.
Business Degrees:
The anticipated base pay for this position is Sophomore $22.00/hr, Junior $23.00/hr, Senior $24.00/hr, Master’s degree $30.00/hr.
