As the delivery of oncology care becomes more complex due to entry of innovative treatments and physician shortages, the role of the Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant) is increasingly more important. Opportunities exist to support our NP and PAs through development of tailored resources that support their efforts in detection, diagnosis, access and adherence for patients on their health journeys. This position within the Oncology Portfolio Strategy & Execution Team will be responsible for helping shape and execute the Pan-Oncology customer solution strategy for NPs and PAs. This role will also directly support the Oncology Clinical Educator field-based team that educates providers and patients.

This role will require close coordination with cross functional partners including Brand Marketing, our Oncology Clinical Educator field team (OCEs), Strategic Customer Group (SCG), Business Analytics, Medical Affairs & Real-World Value & Evidence, Key Account Management field teams, outside vendors, and more to effectively execute key commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Oncology Franchise APP strategy in collaboration with Brand and OCE teams
  • Develop comprehensive Pan-Oncology plan & pull-through for strategic partnerships with APP societies (i.e. ONS, JADPRO, AONN, APSHO)
  • Develop content for OCE team to execute that would support objectives and opportunities across all oncology brands (including in partnership with J&J Nursing Academy)
  • Develop metrics dashboard for OCE team effectiveness
  • Partner with OCEs to understand needs of APP customers
  • Identify synergies across brands

Qualifications

  • A minimum Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA or advanced degree in related field is helpful.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience, including pharmaceutical and healthcare knowledge
  • A minimum 5 years' experience in Sales, Marketing, Managed Care Account Management, Pricing and/or related fields
  • Proven proficiencies in marketing, project management, and clear communication.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, which may include overnight and weekend travel.

Preferred:

  • People leadership experience
  • Experience in oncology
  • Nursing and/or physician assistant background

This position is located in Horsham PA and requires up to 25% travel predominantly domestically with limited international travel.
