Description

The Senior Account Executive builds relationships with key accounts within a territory. They develop business opportunities in the assigned portfolios, with the objective of achieving and exceeding the sales targets set. They are also responsible for developing long-term positive customer relationships to build customer advocacy and confidence in Johnson & Johnson as a preferred supplier.

This position reports to the Sales Manager.

Job responsibilities:

  • Achieve/exceed assigned sales targets and related activities
  • Identify development opportunities and increase unit growth, profitability and market share for target customers
  • Provide high levels of customer satisfaction through customer relationships, product support and services
  • Manage account information through effective, timely reports and accurate customer records
  • Improve product knowledge and selling related skills to provide improved service to customers which differentiate J&J from competitors
  • Engage in product portfolio management and set strategic directions based on customer needs and business goals
  • Keep up to date on disease, product, competitor and market knowledge
  • Foster collaboration and partnerships between opinion leaders and the company

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business/Science/Engineering
  • Minimal 3 – 8 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical sector with strong record, with a preference for experience in oncology or haematology
  • Demonstrated resilience, desire to learn, openness and adaptability, attention to details and possess the desire to excel and grow
  • Displayed excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
  • Consistent track record of working in a collaborative environment and developing strong relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Shown ability to manage the needs of different stakeholders involved in the decision-making process
  • Exhibited an ability to navigate uncertainty and thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Valid Class 3 driving license is preferred
