The Senior Account Executive builds relationships with key accounts within a territory. They develop business opportunities in the assigned portfolios, with the objective of achieving and exceeding the sales targets set. They are also responsible for developing long-term positive customer relationships to build customer advocacy and confidence in Johnson & Johnson as a preferred supplier.
This position reports to the Sales Manager.
Job responsibilities:
Achieve/exceed assigned sales targets and related activities
Identify development opportunities and increase unit growth, profitability and market share for target customers
Provide high levels of customer satisfaction through customer relationships, product support and services
Manage account information through effective, timely reports and accurate customer records
Improve product knowledge and selling related skills to provide improved service to customers which differentiate J&J from competitors
Engage in product portfolio management and set strategic directions based on customer needs and business goals
Keep up to date on disease, product, competitor and market knowledge
Foster collaboration and partnerships between opinion leaders and the company
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business/Science/Engineering
Minimal 3 – 8 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical sector with strong record, with a preference for experience in oncology or haematology
Demonstrated resilience, desire to learn, openness and adaptability, attention to details and possess the desire to excel and grow
Displayed excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
Consistent track record of working in a collaborative environment and developing strong relationships with cross-functional teams
Shown ability to manage the needs of different stakeholders involved in the decision-making process
Exhibited an ability to navigate uncertainty and thrive in a dynamic environment
