The MAM organization operates as one integrated team in the delivery of Engineering, Maintenance and Execution Systems activities. This occurs in a standard, coordinated and consistent manner in support of the current and future requirements of our Manufacturing & Technical Organization (MTO) and in conjunction with key partners, to create one integrated internal/external network.
Position: Execution Systems Engineer with data focus
The ES Engineer with Data Focus (M/F/X) is a strategic-technical, high-impact, Beerse Site role, powering a new, key element of the Execution Systems Roadmap – data:
- It binds our team internally, from a Projects and Base Business service level and completeness perspective while opening the discipline to technological advancement and integrates it externally at an enterprise level, where it aligns to standards and powers capability build and maturation (and thus value creation).

Provide, as Subject Matter Expert in Execution Systems, project leadership and automation solutions to problems and opportunities, advanced automation design for complex production and processing systems, respectively transfer of knowledge to the users and Maintenance teams

Shape and lead the data strategy within the Make Asset Management (MAM) team, with a focus on standards implementations, systems and infrastructure.
You will provide leadership and input on a wide range of ES projects, with a distinct focus on data, as well as data-oriented ad-hoc support. As such, you will:

Be responsible for implementing, supporting and maintaining the ISA-95 Level 2 systems, by applying ES standards to deliver business results.

Contribute to the development of business and/or functional strategies and capabilities related to ES; establish ES-related system roadmaps and delivery.

Partner with colleagues from Operations, Logistics, Safety, Facilities, Quality and other stakeholders in the identification of business opportunities or needs.

Ensure that computerized systems are fit for the intended use and aligned with applicable laws throughout the entire system life cycle.

Ensure timely delivery of project work and documentation; develop, maintain & control Project budgets and Capital Requirement Plans.
You will lead ES data strategy and execution: shape the data strategy within the JSC Beerse MAM team with a focus on systems and infrastructure. In more detail, you will:

Lead the execution of Data projects and content to achieve business goals and realize value, including the lifecycle management of our ES-generated data, in line with enterprise standards and requirements.

Partner closely and collaborate with other functions (MTO IDM – Manufacturing Technology and Operations Integrated Data Management, Technical Operations, IT, MAM CoE [Center of Excellence], SCSS – Supply Chain Systems and Solutions, Clinical Supply Chain), initiatives (MFF – Manufacturing For the Future, DNA DataVision) and competence groups on data topics, to ensure the broader enterprise strategies are interpreted and implemented in an appropriate manner in Beerse.

Proactively promote Data, by means of close business relationship management, as the key enabler for technology-driven decision making, generating value and capability for MAM and our business stakeholders.

Take the lead in cost-benefit and priority determination of data/digital initiatives.

Ensure that ES and Data documentation is managed, controlled, approved and reviewed in accordance with site procedures to meet business needs and production schedules.

Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for external partners and Service Level Agreements (SLA) related to ES data capabilities.
You will be our OSI-PI Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and Subject Matter Expert (SME), as:

Owner of PI content strategy and standards for Beerse ES, linking them to the overarching ES data strategy.

Owner of the Beerse Asset Framework content.
In a coordinative and collaborative role, you may be invited to support additional (ad-hoc) data-based responsibilities around:

Our Automation Network (Level 2 Shared Service - ANSS), Data Integrity (DI), or cybersecurity.

Drive efficiencies through suitable study and adoption of new/emerging technologies (e.g. Industrial Internet of Things - IIOT, Edge Computing, ES Digital Twins) and improved approaches to how we operate (challenge the status quo and drive improvement).

Work with Platform and CoE Leads to solicit and deploy technologies, systems and sharing to drive improvement on a global scale.

Bring the following technical expertise into our team:

Advanced knowledge of OSI-PI/historians, Asset Framework; data architectures, contextualization, curation.

Control Systems expertise: infrastructure, design (Hardware / Software).

Proven track record in Automation in life sciences industries including safety and (product) quality technical expertise.

You are fluent in both spoken and written Dutch, while English represents an advantage.

Having knowhow around these technologies represents a welcome plus: automation networks, Data Integrity, cybersecurity, emerging technologies (IIOT, Edge, Digital Twins)

Having any of these certifications represents a welcome plus: Six Sigma/Lean, PMP/FPX, MAMC.
