We are searching the best talent for Procurement Operations Lead to be in Bogota.
Purpose:
The R2P Lead Associate will be responsible for been the main point of contact for interactions between the requesters and business partners, with R2P Associates, ensuring a positive end user experience under full compliance across all processes. These interactions would primarily be (but not limited to) providing general assistance i.e. Basic navigation guidance/help and more detailed assistance for transactions - i.e. requisition creation, PO creation, receiving, PO closer and status updates, escalating issues, IT issues, process improvements, among others.
The R2P Lead Associate is also responsible for insuring delivery of goals related to user experience, user perception, automation, cycle times, budgets and other operational metrics, doing the right planning and allocating resources to achieve it.
The R2P Lead Associate would also be responsible in general for continuous improvement, encourage adoption of new innovation and incubate new ideas in process, technology and organization design. It will lead various projects in R2P or even across Procurement teams, ensuring all are delivered on-time. Work closely with the S2S Global Leadership to align on standard process, technology and org design (including continuous improvement and compliance)
The R2P Lead Associate will have responsibility for managing a group of R2P Associates. This will include (but not limited to) standard HR and talent responsibilities (i.e. performance management, succession planning, organizational assessments) as well as the increasing the skill set of the R2P Associate (i.e. training, performance development) and team work culture.
You will be responsible for :
Talent Management
- Manage the training and development of organizational talent
- Conduct talent and organization analyses, assess change impacts and support change management integration activities
- Create and manage training plans, talent development initiatives, communication plans, and succession planning activities
- Communicate procurement organization strategy, policies and organizational competencies
Service Delivery Management
- Ensure R2P service delivery meets agreed service levels:
- Concierge management
- Issues support/resolution
- Monitor compliance, conduct business review meetings and perform transition activities
- Define data collection approacg, collect and review data, evaluate progress against targets and update ongoing performance and other metrics
- PO Lifecycle management and other metrics
- R2P Customer/supplier management
- Assure standardization in processes
Business Partnering and Management
- Define and implement operational and tactical governance with customers to review service performance, ensure agreement on and periodization of required improvements, drive further standardization of affiliate processes.
- Connect with customers at various levels to keep finger on the pulse to quickly spot service issues, process inefficiencies, compliance risks.
Projects/ Continuous Improvement
- Identify / Develop best practices & leverage across affiliates to ensure effective & efficient deployment of standard processes within affiliates
- Gather and analyze R2P process and service performance data, perform root cause analysis, use benchmark data and best practices to identify opportunities for improvements.
- Lead the prioritization and implementation of key continuous improvement projects On Time, On Budget & On Quality
- Track & report benefits achieved
- Identify automation opportunities and work with the global team for implementation
- Be the representative for LATAM region for Global/Regional initiatives
Qualifications
Qualifications and requirements:
- A bachelor degree is required, with a preferred concentration in Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineer, Business Administrator
- A minimum of 5-7 years of related experience in procurement
- Experience managing teams
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the demonstrated ability to interact with various levels of the organization.
- For this role it is required to speak English at a proficient level, and if you have Portuguese, a plus.
- Shown skill with P2P process: Procurement & Finance/Accounting processes (Requisitioning, PO, Invoicing, General Ledger)
- Knowledge of Procurement processes (Requisitioning, PO, Invoicing)
- Experience interacting with customer (customer service experience)
- Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills. Ideally experience with Ariba and/or EMarketplace and/or SAP.
- Excellent customer services skills
- Six Sigma Black and/or Green Belt is preferred
- Experience working in a shared service center is preferred
- Ideally with experience in multinational companies (preferred, not a must)
