 Janssen Japan is recruiting for an experienced Digital Strategy Lead in Digital Engagement Strategy Group.

You will help us use web technologies to achieve our business growth goals. You will identify needs and new opportunities and aspire to increase brand awareness.

You will be managing the planning & digital strategy cycle of our stakeholders using different digital channels. The Digital Strategy Lead is responsible for ensuring alignment and strategic development of integrated marketing initiatives to meet stakeholder and business objectives. It is key for the Digital Strategy Lead to have the ability to interrogate and interpret business unit briefs, understand key consumer and market insights to consult and devise holistic digital plans, leveraging appropriate marketing channels. The Digital Strategy Lead has ownership and autonomy over the planning cycle and is responsible for driving direction of overarching communication strategy in line with business objectives.

This position will be based in our office in Tokyo, Japan.

Qualifications

<Qualifications>

•6-7+ years digital Marketing/brand management experience; global development experience preferred

•Bachelor’s degree, MBA or advance degree preferred

•Must possess strong Digital analytical skills with their eye on achieving business goals.

•Experience in digital marketing or planning

•Experience in creating overall digital channel strategy

•Possession of excellent written, oral and presentation skills, particularly the ability to articulate a compelling digital activation and customer story.

•Strong understanding of project management. Exhibit a keen ability to be proactive as well as handle a multitude of projects at one time managing timelines and deliverables.

•A comprehensive understanding of different marketing capabilities and what they offer including; Search Marketing, Analytics, Webinar, Social etc.

•Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing, ensure digital is fully embedded in all initiatives.

•Possession of excellent written, oral and presentation skills, particularly the ability to articulate a compelling digital activation and customer story.

•Experience in delivering on data science projects using predictive technologies, data mining and/or text mining in a business context.

•Fluency in English

<Preferred Qualifications>

•Knowledge with healthcare relevant data sets

•Excel at building relationships, both internally and with vendor

•Experience in business intelligence and company-wide reporting

•Knowledge or experience working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

•Change management skill

•Fluency in Japanese

<Licenses>

•Business English TOEIC: 800 and above (if non-native)

•Bachelor’s degree, MBA or advance degree
