Role Summary
The shared capability recruiter will lead the delivery and execution of recruitment initiatives that enable the acquisition of top talent from university both new grads and MBA/Master to meet strategic objectives in their assigned business/geography that will provide J&J with a competitive recruiting advantage.

In this exciting role you will:

  • Be responsible for cross-sector campus recruiting and MBA/Master recruiting for Japan, by maintaining elements of the recruiting infrastructure, as well as input into the strategy and philosophy of the J&J hiring for Japan.
  • The allocation of campus recruiting and MBA/Master recruiting will be adjusted according to your experience and capabilities.
  • Lead end to end recruiting process in Japan – from managing stakeholder requirements, seasonal planning, and event coordination.
  • Develop and maintain the university relation to ensure the J&J employer branding be well delivered and promoted in the Universities.
  • Manage the recruitment process to ensure all required data on applicants, processes and the final hiring decision meets company standards by ensuring that exceptions are properly authorized and monitor applicant flow to ensure that the candidate flow is large and diverse.
  • Ensures that administrative procedures are accurate and performed in a timely manner to support the recruitment process.
  • Own the whole end-to-end recruiting process by embracing new technologies to ensure that the sourcing, recruiting, offer, onboarding and communication processes run smoothly contributing to a best in class candidate experience and employer equity.


Preferred qualifications;

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required
  • A minimum of 2 years of campus recruiting is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities as well as formal presentation and facilitation skills are required, in both English and Japanese.
  • A minimum of 3 years of HR/Recruiting and/or similar experience
  • Being a self-starter and able to work effectively in an agile environment, while having a one-team mindset. 
  • Embrace new technologies, handle multiple projects and daily ad-hoc operational activities.
  • Understand of the business/industry would be a big plus
  • Demonstrated success analyzing and presenting recruiting data that drive data based impact and decisions for key business partners.
