The Manager, Forecasting & Analytics is responsible for generating, integrating, and translating insights and analytics to shape the forecasting process and support growth opportunities for brands within the Hematology Oncology Business Janssen NA.  This position will counsel and partner closely with the existing forecasting & analytics team, brand leadership and other internal and external partners to uncover opportunities to strategically influence the Multiple Myeloma Marketing & Sales teams.  They will primarily support patients claims data and perform analytics which influence forecast and the development of new and existing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Optimize patient claims level data flow and integration, utilizing SQL, to gather relevant data and inform actionable insights which address key business questions.

·       Identify, design and execute analytics which inform forecasting assumptions, national analytics, and marketing and sales strategy and tactics.

o   Leverage disparate data sources to address key business questions and uncover business opportunities.

o   Determine optimal analytic approaches and statistical methods, identify appropriate supplier partners, foster strong partnerships in the context of resources, timing and overall project goals. 

o   Develop new insights and actionable recommendations and influence business partners at all levels to incorporate in decision making.

  • Integrate forecasting analytics, primary research, & intelligence insights developed by peers across the Commercial Insights & Strategy team for Janssen Oncology and translate into business impact.

o   Identify and develop key metrics to measure and monitor performance, including opportunities for efficiencies and automation.

o   Integrate data and insights into ongoing analytics to drive a holistic view of the customer and market.

o   Exhibit strong partnership in the development of forecast process enhancements and standardization.

o   Present complex issues in a clear manner and effectively communicate recommendations to cross functional teams and brand team.

o   Leverage and manage external partners to support internal efforts, where appropriate

·       Drive focus and innovation through objective research and analyses and the integration of insights enabling organizational decision making and action.

o   Champion the development and implementation of analytics approaches and methods that are innovative, drive efficiencies, and contribute to broader sharing of best practices.

o   Demonstrate leadership courage in order to set boundaries and ensure time is spent on the most critical/ high value projects

o   Drive a culture of simplicity within the forecasting and analytics functions to ensure business processes are streamlined and partners are provided on-demand insights that translate to action.

    • Take personal accountability for making Credo-based decisions and fostering a Credo-based culture.

Befähigungen

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of related professional experience is required.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical and specialty pharmacy data sources is required (to include IQVIA, Symphony Health, Truven/Optum).
  • Experience working with anonymized patient level claims data to generate insights and inform strategy is required.
  • Experience using BI platforms (e.g. Alteryx, Dataiku) to manipulate data using SQL, Python, R, is required.
  • Previous experience with Forecasting and/or Analytics is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and define a problem with a disciplined approach to solving.
  • Strength in storytelling, data visualization and developing effective presentations.
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity.
  • Knowledge across a broad spectrum of analytical approaches and ability to identify appropriate approach to address key business questions.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key decisions required.
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and Tableau.

Other:

  • This position will be located in Horsham, PA and will require up to 10% domestic travel.
