We have exciting new openings for Senior Clinical Research Associates (Senior Site Managers) to join our Global Clinical Operations (GCO) team. From research to real-life situations, Janssen has a long track record for developing innovative medicines that save lives and improve the quality of life for many Australians. Our GCO team is a center of excellence within Janssen (the pharmaceutical division of Johnson & Johnson), responsible for clinical trials and other data generation activities to support R&D and Medical Affairs research. The GCO team manage and coordinate phase I-IV trials.
What you’ll do:
Our current area of focus is Oncology/Haematology, Infectious Diseases & Vaccines, Immunology, Cardiovascular Disease, and Neurosciences. In GCO, the Senior Site Manager/Senior CRA is the sponsor’s interface with the investigative site and a member of the local study management team. The Senior Site Manager/Senior CRA also covers all aspects of site management from pre-trial assessments through to database locks and close out activities whilst serving as the primary contact point between the sponsor and the investigational site.
Responsibilities may include assisting with site selection, pre-trial assessment, subject recruitment and retention planning, site initiation, on-site and remote monitoring and close-out activities. In addition, this role will partner with the Local Trial Manager (LTM), Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) and Clinical Trial Manager (CTM) to ensure overall site management while performing trial related activities for assigned protocols. This is a great opportunity to also contribute to process improvement, training and mentoring of other Site Managers.
This is a full-time, permanent role and can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide.

• Degree in Science, Nursing or Life Sciences.
• Extensive demonstrated success as a CRA.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong working knowledge of GCP, company SOPs, local laws and regulations and assigned protocols.
• Strong IT skills in appropriate software and company systems.
• Willingness to travel.
