The Strategic Customer Group within Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices is recruiting for a Lead Analyst U.S. JJMT Ortho Pricing and Contracting Initiatives located in either Raynham, MA, West Chester, PA, Warsaw, IN, Palm Beach, FL, or remote considered.
Reporting to the Director, U.S. Ortho Pricing and Contracting Initiatives, this Lead Analyst will play a key role in developing competitive pricing and analytics across U.S. JJMT Orthopaedics through process excellence and competitive benchmarking. This individual will work across all U.S. JJMT Orthopaedics businesses and closely with all of the Senior Pricing Managers to provide insights to drive competitive strategies. The Lead Analyst will also have primary responsibility for the U.S. JJMT Ortho CPC process flow and administration which will account for ~40% of their time.
Responsibilities:
- Process Lead for the U.S. JJMT Ortho CPC
- Provide Data insights on U.S. JJMT Ortho CPC volume, approvals and key metrics
- Initiate and lead all communication regarding U.S. JJMT Ortho CPC events: To include sending all decks out for review ahead of meetings and formal communication to all parties around approvals, delegations or approvals while maintaining the CPC schedule throughout the year
- Work with each Senior Pricing Manager on the Pricing and Contracting Initiatives teams to develop and maintain robust external benchmarking for Orthopaedic devices
- Support Senior Pricing Managers and Global Pricing team to develop pricing matrices and tiers for New Products with insights from our cost of goods sold, sales strategy and analytics around external or competitive data sets
- Participate in new product launch teams where competitive pricing and system data are key outputs
- Provide analytical support in the creation of and maintenance of constructs for profitability analysis
- Establish and maintain a dashboard to review demand RFP data and key insights across the JJMT Ortho business units
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $91,000 to $147,500.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. A concentration in Finance, Business, Economics, or Marketing is preferred
- A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant business experience with at least 3 years in Pricing, Offer Development, Contract Management, Finance, Sales, or Marketing is required
- Experience working with internal and external data analytics is required
- Understanding of Benchmarking and matrices is required
- High Proficiency in MS Excel with experience extracting significant detailed data sets from various sources, concatenating, analyzing, and report out via dashboard summaries is required
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with experience analyzing complex data and providing data driven solutions in a time sensitive environment is required
- Proficiency in prioritizing and managing multiple concurrent deliverables for different end users is required
- Established interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize, and make decisions in an ambiguous and complex environment is required
- A consistent record of working in a remote matrix environment where a high degree of collaboration is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate business situations clearly and accurately, and to address and resolve issues by communicating difficult information in a professional manner are required
- Ability to research and analyze issues and identify options to resolve problems quickly and compliantly
- Ability to form strong, trust-based relationships with Marketing, Sales, Pricing, Deal Desk, Contract Strategy, Legal, HCC, GCC and other functions is required
- <10% travel will be required of this role
