Auris Health, Inc., part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is redefining medical interventions. By combining advancements in medical robotics, instrumentation, navigation, and data science, we are building intelligence platforms capable of growing the applicability of robotics to a new spectrum of medical procedures. We are seeking a hardworking individual with experience in robotics and algorithm development for an internship position within the Research & Innovation team.
As a Product Software Connectivity Intern, you will join the Connectivity & Cybersecurity team (leads connectivity, data, networking, logging, and cybersecurity), and support the development of software features and controls of the surgical robotics system. You will be partnering with many teams, including Infrastructure, DevOps, Clinical, and Systems, to define, develop, and test the product. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate enthusiastic about the project, adaptable, open to instruction and code critique, and interested in C++. Your internship will be to support the Ottava’s Surgical Platform media and user IoT cloud device support. You will develop C++, Git, Linux, QNX, Yocto, cloud, and security skills. This position is located in Santa Clara, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the product's media and user cloud device development.
- Work closely with other scientists, researchers, engineers, and developers to transfer solutions to product.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering Program, pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in software, computer, or equivalent engineering.
- Some IoT connectivity interests.
- Some C++, Python, Shell, REST experience.
- Ability to relocate across the United States as required by the internship program.
The anticipated base pay for this internship is between $27.00 and $50.00, but will be based on candidate’s program year, field, degree and/or experience.
