Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Talent Practices Lead (New Consumer Health Company). This position will be in New Brunswick, NJ, but will be considered for remote work.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals.     

It is anticipated that, following the conclusion of the transaction, this position may be conveyed with New Consumer Health. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.   

Responsibilities:  

  • The Talent Practices Lead reports to the Head of Succession, Assessment, and Leadership Models, and is responsible for supporting, developing, and executing the global enterprise-wide strategy, for organization capability and succession, philosophy, and best practices 

  • Collaborate closely with HR leaders and key stakeholders 

  • Responsible for gathering and integrating enterprise organization capability and succession information, for generating strategic talent insights to drive decisions in identifying, developing, tracking, and retaining key talents 

  • Supports the Head of Succession, Assessment, and Leadership in defining Enterprise Succession Strategies, developing enterprise succession guiding principles, objectives, requirements, and governance 

  • Conduct regular reviews and updates as needed 

  • Partner with internal talent management peers, business, HR and external industry expertise to gather necessary information to inform enterprise organizational capability needs   

  • Develop tools and best practices and define critical KPIs for tracking the effectiveness of succession strategy and associated practices 

  • Partner with HR and talent management peers globally to oversee the execution of Enterprise Succession initiatives and processes landing 

  • Serve as the global Enterprise Succession subject matter expert to consult on suitable strategies and proactively monitor the effectiveness of the strategy 

  • Gather and analyze the succession planning data globally and translate it into talent insights, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement 

  • Connect and manage external vendors/experts, to gather external data on succession challenges, practices, and solutions and leverage the gathered insights to shape the internal succession practices 

  • Possess strong business acumen, with knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations 

  • Consulting experience, with the ability to provide technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external. Applies appropriate consulting techniques and knowledge 

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage projects from end- to-end including scoping, resource allocation/management, project planning, task assignment and tracking against project plan, assessing risks as well as project reporting. Ensures projects are delivered on time and under budget 

  • The ability to build relationships, by creating relationships with the immediate team and across the organization, characterized by a high level of acceptance, cooperation, and mutual respect. Establishes relationships outside of the organization that supports individual growth and/or business success 

  • Strategic and Tactical Planning, with the ability to devise long-term strategic goals and plans for achieving them, as well as the step-by-step shorter-term actions/initiatives that support the attainment of these goals and plans 

  • Ability to communicate effectively, with excellent verbal and written skills. Conveys relevant knowledge and information and listens to understand  

  • Succession Planning, with the capacity to identify and develop potential new leaders to replace current leaders as they depart the organization. Increase the availability of experienced and capable employees to assume these roles in the future 

  • Project Management Office, with the capacity to define and maintain standards for project management within the organization. Ensures the effective implementation of projects and the achievement of pre-determined goals 

  • Strong Analytic Acumen, with the ability to utilize data to generate insights and enable evidence-based decision-making 

  • Business Mindset, with the capacity to utilize business and market insights, to support, advise, and identify solutions 

  • People Performance Management, capable of working within the organization's performance management system and offer support to managers in setting up and completing performance appraisals 

  • Change Advocate, with the ability to anticipate, manage, support, and sustain change with agility 

  • Serve as a Digital Champion, by embracing and practicing a digital mindset through encouragement and promoting the use of technology 

  • Promote HR Best Practices, by creating, implementing, and utilizing formal disciplines, practices, and standards for improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and safety of HR processes and procedures 

  • Serve as an Integrator, by identifying opportunities across groups and ideas to think holistically and develop end-to-end solutions 

  • Operational Excellence, with the ability to continuously drive enhanced effectiveness and efficiency 

  • Serve as a Trusted Partner, who advises and facilitates effective decision-making- making through collaboration and expertise 

  • Talent Management Strategy, with the ability to design a talent management strategy and support policies to ensure the organization has a sound plan for reaching its goals and guiding principles on how to achieve them 

资格

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline 

  • Strong business acumen, with an understanding of key global business trends including, organizational functions, regulatory, legal, and economic conditions 

  • Proven track record of developing tools/practices/methodologies and/or consulting (internal or external) in this space 

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively, including the ability to influence without direct authority 

  • Strong end-to-end project management experience, including project plans, status reports, communication plans, risk management plans, milestones, and deliverable charts 

  • Strong digital and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into business insights  

  • Innovative thinker with the ability to create integrated global HR solutions to support business goals  

Preferred Competencies: 

  • An MBA or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related discipline 

  • Previous experience in talent management  

  • Experience in Consumer Health or related industry
